Reach Out & Touch Faith // Met Gala 2018 Review

Halleloo! The clouds are parting and beyond those blessed golden rays we catch a glimpse of sparkle and shine of Hollywood's finest as they gather en masse in honour of latest art/ fashion exhibition Heavenly Bodies at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. That's right, it's time for this year's Met Gala fashion extravaganza!

The theme of this year's event reflects the holiest of creativity, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, a dialogue between fashion and medieval art. As with every Met Gala some guests take the dress code with a pinch of glitter while others devote themselves fully to the cause. This is a round up of my personal favourites of the night and boy what a curation it is!

Life Imitating Art

Gilded Spirit

Colourful Effigies

Abstract Angels

Be sure to check out this epic Vogue music video, this mini moment explaining which ethereal artwork the stars were inspired by and of course this behind the scenes peek at the enchanting Lana Del Rey at the museum. For comparison head this way to enjoy the highlights from 2017, 2016 and 2014. Now, let's put our hands together and pray that next year's ball is as worthy!
