Older and Wiser

"How puzzling all these changes are! I'm never sure what I'm going to be, from one minute to another.” Lewis Carroll.

// “I cannot for the life of me understand why small children take so long to grow up. I think they do it deliberately, just to annoy me.” Roald Dahl //

“I suppose it's like the ticking crocodile, isn't it? Time is chasing after all of us.” J. M. Barrie.

  1. Title + quotes about time and growing up + balloons in the background of the photo = your birthday? If so Happy Birthday Lovely! If not, well consider it an early one for whenever it is haha ;)

Love Alice in Wonderland, Matilda and Peter Pan so all these quotes are wonderfully familiar to me. Though when I was smaller I never thought about the ticking crocodile as an allegory for time and ageing. Funny how you see these things as you get older isn't is?

    1. I think that's what makes these classic books so timeless, you read them at different stages in your life and take something from it each time.
